Pemra granted a licence of FM 100.4 to the University of Agriculture Faisalaba

The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority on Sunday granted a licence of FM 100.4 to the University of Agriculture Faisalabad at a ceremony held at the PEMRA headquarter here.

Prof Dr Tanveer Ali from Institute of Agricultural Extension and Rural Development on the behalf of UAF Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan received the license from PEMRA Chairman Abdul Jabbar. Later, a meeting was held at the UAF campus to discuss scope and function of the FM radio. UAF VC Prof Iqrar said that the radio would help transfer modern knowledge to the people. He said that the radio would also provide a platform to the students about polishing and exhibiting their skills regarding agricultural journalism.
